Foundation course

Grow Home Safe is partnering with Site Safe to develop foundation level health and safety training for workers in the horticulture and viticulture sectors. 

Current training courses are generic and geared toward Health and Safety Reps rather than providing general health and safety knowledge. Employers often need to bridge the knowledge gaps and, in addition, seasonal peaks of workers with differing levels of competency coming into the industry can make training a challenge.  

By having an industry standard of foundational health and safety training, employers can be confident all workers have a base level of health and safety knowledge, making induction easier and ensuring a safer workforce.
